Rat Prince Extraordinaire

Okay, so this little brown rat doesn't look much of the hero type, but his costume for the Rat-Punzel performance was pretty sweet. We're talking L200 foam armor and helmet complete with a cape and a swashbuckling feather. Here, he's dressed down to show his more casual side.

Hood Rat

Here's another member of the "hairy tail of rat-punzel" team.

This gangster rat can't rap, yo.

Rat-punzel

The beautiful... the hairy... Rat-punzel! For the performance of rat-punzel, I needed her to just chill in her tower so instead of arm rods, she just has pose-able arms.

And yes, she is wearing bunny slippers. The better for TV watching while waiting for her rat-knight in shining armor.

A Very Villainous Rat

Timpanogos Storytelling Festival is in two weeks, and I realized that I never really posted any good shots of the rats from my "hairy tail of rat-punzel" show in 2013 (see this post). So, without further ado, I introduce the villain! I'll post photos of the other ratlings as I take them.

Moose Head Puppet

This is a little behind the scenes look at the production "Accident West Virginia." The video was taken during one of the rehearsals so I apologize for the sound.

The Wide Eyed Pig

Progress is going well, however the eyes of the puppet look a little scary.

The Bird Can See!

The nameless blue bird now has the gift of sight! Next step:  wings and talons. And the cute little green guy nameless bird is paired with is called Horseapple. All that's left for him is his other arm.

Bird Muppet Style Puppet

Here is one of many puppets I am making for an upcoming show. The exciting thing is I can finally blog about them, because they aren't commissions! This is a work-in-progress shot... so eyes and wings to come.
