Jack (as in the bean stalk)

The star of the show. I like the way he turned out. He took a long time because his head and body are all hand sewn, and I've learned that hand sewing yields the cleanest result. I finally got the hang of it by the time I got through the rest of the puppets and finally got to Jack. I feel kind of dumb in hind sight. I had been machine sewing the fabric, and it wouldn't fit right. I tried every way I knew to measure the fabric so that when I sewed it, it would fit perfectly. I was never really successful. Moral of the story is:  hand sewing is awesome.
